This Privacy Policy explains how Salvatore Bonanno (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use B.E.A.U. at Home (the “Service”) at beauathome.com. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider collects your name and email address and manages your sign-in credentials. We do not store your password.

Payment information. If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we retain only limited billing status (such as whether your subscription is active and when it renews).

Animal and usage information. Information you enter about your animal (such as profile details, conditions, and progress notes), and information about how you use the Service (features used, pages viewed, interactions).

Analytics and device data. We use product-analytics tools that may capture aggregated usage, heatmaps, and session activity, along with standard technical data such as browser type, device, and IP address.

Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, and analytics. You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling some cookies may affect sign-in and certain features.

3. AI-generated guidance

The Service uses artificial-intelligence providers to generate educational rehabilitation guidance. To produce a response, the information you submit (such as your animal’s profile and your questions) may be transmitted to and processed by these providers. We do not use this content to train third-party models, and we instruct our providers to process it only to deliver the Service.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, tax, or security obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) have specific rights, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. 8. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We operate in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
