These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of B.E.A.U. at Home (the “Service”), available at beauathome.com, operated by Salvatore Bonanno (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What B.E.A.U. at Home is — and is not
B.E.A.U. at Home provides educational, evidence-based information and at-home exercise guidance for companion-animal rehabilitation and conditioning. It is not a veterinary service.
The Service does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace examination, advice, or care from a licensed veterinarian. B.E.A.U. at Home was created by Salvatore Bonanno, a Veterinary Technician/Nurse with 30+ years in animal medicine, the past decade focused on canine and feline rehabilitation. Mr. Bonanno and the Service are not veterinarians and do not provide veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian before beginning any exercise or rehabilitation program, and especially before acting on any information from the Service. If your animal shows signs of pain, distress, injury, or a medical emergency, stop immediately and contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital.
2. Assumption of risk
Physical exercise and rehabilitation activities carry inherent risk to both animals and handlers. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any activity is appropriate for your animal, for performing it safely, and for supervising your animal at all times. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with using the guidance provided by the Service.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Authentication is handled by our identity provider; you agree to its handling of your sign-in credentials as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Free trial, subscriptions, and billing
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to paid features. A payment card is collected when you begin the trial; you are not charged during the trial period, and you may cancel at any time before it ends to avoid being charged.
After the trial, continued access to paid features requires a subscription, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. You may choose a monthly plan at $29.99 per month (USD) or an annual plan at $199.99 per year (USD). Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly plans each month and annual plans each year — until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues through the end of the current paid period. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
As an alternative to a subscription, we also offer a one-time Recovery Plan: a single payment of $69 (USD) that unlocks full access to paid features for 90 days from the date of purchase. The Recovery Plan does not include a free trial and does not auto-renew — access ends automatically when the 90-day period expires, after which you may purchase another Recovery Plan or start a subscription. Refunds for the Recovery Plan are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We may change subscription pricing on a prospective basis. We will provide notice of any price change before it applies to you, and continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: reselling or redistributing content without permission; attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service; using it for unlawful purposes; or relying on it as a substitute for professional veterinary care. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its text, exercise content, visualizations, software, and the B.E.A.U. name and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use while your account is active.
7. Your content
You may enter information about your animal (such as profile details and progress notes). You retain ownership of this content and grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, and AI-generated guidance. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY GUIDANCE WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR OUTCOME FOR YOUR ANIMAL.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM INJURY TO ANY ANIMAL OR PERSON RESULTING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Salvatore Bonanno from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute will be the state or federal courts located in Florida.
